New York City artist Marilyn Minter likes flipping
fashion imagery on its head. Her works are sexually-charged
and subversive, capturing where the glamorous and the grotesque collide.
Minter is perhaps best known for her sensuous video Green Pink Caviar,
featuring models’ tongues licking brightly colored liquid candies.
The now-infamous video was played on billboards in Times Square
and in the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art for over a year.
